Description
In the shaded clearings under the beech trees grows the Iris Marsica, a unique variety of iris, which emits a delicate powdery scent. The unforgettable fragrance of this rare flower combines with a bouquet of white flowers resting on a base of creamy woods, punctuated by hints of black currant, with its tart and sugary aroma. A subtle hint of ash is perceptible, evoked by a faint smoky note, which recreates the atmosphere of the fountain located near the refuge, where in the past, housewives used fireplace ash to bleach their laundry.

Maintenance tips
Each candle in the Collezione Rifugi is an exceptional product that requires special care. To get the most out of your candle, follow these instructions:
- For the first two uses, allow the candle to burn for at least five hours, until the entire surface of the wax has melted. This prevents the formation of hollows around the wick in the future.
- When you want to extinguish the flame, use a candle snuffer to avoid splattering liquid wax.
- To ensure even burning of the candle, make sure to properly center the wick using a wick trimmer when the candle is extinguished, but the wax is still liquid.
- Regularly trim the wick with the wick trimmer, maintaining an ideal length of 3 to 5 mm, to avoid smoke formation and overheating of the candle.
To reuse the glass:
- When the wax level reaches about 5 mm or the metal support of the wick becomes visible, it’s time to replace the candle.
- After allowing the wax to cool, immerse the glass in a container of water at a temperature of about 60°C, making sure it’s submerged halfway. Leave it for about two minutes until the wax softens.
- Remove the glass from the water and use a rounded-tip knife to separate the softened wax; then, slide the knife underneath the detached wax puck. Lift the wax puck and dispose of it properly.
- Clean and dry the glass.
- Now, your glass is ready for a new and personalized use.
